2009: YEAR OF THE KING
This year we took the new Minos strip, vamped it up a little and gave the following explanation in our news box regarding it. Many comics do similar gags, we just took it a step, or a few, further down our own delusion alley:
"This is an AMAZING STRIP! You can't tell at first glance, but it was written by Stephen King! It sounds incredible! But Stephen is actually the half brother of the man who previously owned my father's first house! Stephen is a very cool person, very accommodating and open to collaborations! I hope to be his ghostwriter some day, to pay back the honor.
To be honest, this is not his best work, not that I'm complaining, but he probably was not that familiar with the characters. He did swear that he has read MINOS THE MINOTAUR entirely, but now I'm not so sure... Maybe he wanted to spook things a bit. But who am I to whine? STEPHEN KING GUEST WROTE FOR US!!!!"
